150 years ago on 21 February 1871, the Municipal Institutions’ Act, 1871 came into effect creating six original municipalities (additional to Perth): Fremantle; Guildford; Bunbury; Busselton; Albany; and Geraldton.

To commemorate and celebrate this significant anniversary, WALGA will host a Gala Dinner at Crown Perth on Saturday, 20 February 2021. Pre-dinner drinks will be from 6:30pm, with formalities beginning at 7:00pm. Dress code is formal attire.

This is a unique opportunity to celebrate the positive role the Local Government sector plays, and has played, in communities across WA for the last 150 years.

Tickets are $180, or a table of ten can be purchased for $1,800. Should you have a special seating arrangement request or would like to make up a table of 10 across a number of purchases, please email registration@walga.asn.au by Wednesday, 10 February 2021.

Discounted accommodation at Crown's onsite hotels has also been secured. For details on how to book, please click here.

For more information, please contact Convention Manager, Emily Ferguson on (08) 9213 2097 or email registration@walga.asn.au
