Public Libraries Info Session Allocation Model
24 Feb
24 Feb

The Library Board of Western Australia, via the State Library of Western Australia, currently allocates annual funding to an agreed formula to local governments for the purchase of public library materials.  As part of the implementation of the Public Libraries Strategy Tiered Model Framework, a reference group of Local and State Government representatives has undertaken a review of the current model and made recommendations for changes to its methodology.

WALGA will host a forum for all Local Government CEOs, Directors and Library Managers to discuss the review of and proposed changes to the allocation model for the distribution of State Government public library materials funding in preparation for the implementation of the new Tiered Model in July 2020.

For further information please contact WALGA's Policy Manager Community, Kirstie Davis, on 9213 2044 or email
