The Community Safety Network will host an event focused on the topic of family and domestic violence on Tuesday, 18 May.

Family and domestic violence is a complex and concerning issue with significant long-term impacts for victims. More recently there has been growing interest from Local Governments and particular concern regarding the impact from COVID-19.

Presentations will include:
  • Department of Communities on the State Strategy ‘Path to Safety: Western Australia’s Strategy to Reduce Family and Domestic Violence 2020 – 2030’.
  • Women’s Centre for Safety and Wellbeing
  • Stopping Family Violence; and
  • Local Government case studies

A program will be available in the coming weeks. This event will also be broadcast through a webinar.
