Following the Local Government elections, WALGA hosted the New Councillor Seminar at the PCEC on Friday, 12 November.

With engaging and relevant speakers addressing key topics including legal responsibilities, the relationship between the Mayor / President and CEO, and the experience of being new to Council, the Seminar was attended by more than 100 Elected Members from across the state.
