WA Poised to Return to Pre-Lockdown Conditions from Monday, 12 July 

The Premier has indicated that WA is on track to return to pre-lockdown conditions from 12:01am, Monday, 12 June. 

Masks will no longer be required.
There will no longer be any capacity or crowd limits, service restrictions or limits on visits to aged care facilities and hospitals. 
Major events of all kinds can resume.
The following remain in place: 
  • Mandatory contact registers
  • COVID Safety Plans
  • COVID Event Plans for large-scale events
  • WA’s controlled border
  • Travel restrictions to some remote Aboriginal communities.

The State Government will be providing $3000 lockdown assistance grants to small businesses affected by the lockdown. The grants will also be available to businesses in regional WA. More information on the grants can be found here
