Scott has considerable experience in industrial relations and employment law. He gained much of his knowledge of workplace relations and legal training through his time at the Workplace Authority (now Fair Work Australia) during which he worked as a Workplace Info Line Advisor and a Legal Officer. He also has experience in the Local Government industry having worked as an Employee Relations Advisor with Local Government Workplace Solutions before assuming the role as Employee Relations Manager.
Scott has a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Legal Studies and a Graduate Bachelor of Laws degree. He has completed the Practical Legal Training Program with the College of Law making him eligible to be admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
