Lewis Winter

Lewis has spent 35 years in the emergency service and emergency management (EM) industry, working for Federal, State and Local Government project managing innovative EM projects.

Over the past 10 years he has had increasing involvement with community centric EM working to develop a stronger nexus between community and emergency services including developing resilience through the promotion of self-reliance. This work has resulted in receiving many National and State awards for his progressive and practical approach to EM.

Lewis is also an Emergency Management lecturer for Charles Sturt University (CSU) and coordinates several subjects within the Emergency Management (EM) post graduate and undergraduate degrees.
