Leading Organisational Change


Ongoing change is a constant factor affecting the Local Government sector and in order to remain effective and sustainable, organisational resilience, leadership and capacity for managing change are essential workplace competencies.

Organisational change management is a systematic and planned approach to managing the impact of change (strategic, structural, cultural, workforce and procedural) and supporting people through the process. Ensuring teams are ready, willing, and able is paramount to achieving success and delivering strong business outcomes therefore effective change leaders need to be able to create a common vision, build commitment, encourage participation and enable the desired transformation to take place.

This course outlines the linkages between change management process and business performance and provides examples of tools that can be used to effectively facilitate change.

Target Audience

Suitable for Executive Managers, Middle Managers, Human Resource, Organisational Development and Corporate Communications Managers and Senior Project Leaders who would like to expand upon their current knowledge and understanding of leading and driving change, improving organisational performance and adopting a consistent and structured approach to driving and managing change.
