Overview
Waste 101: Introduction to Waste Management is an online introductory course designed to provide to key waste and recycling concepts, programs and policy, people and organisations, and legislation to new as well as existing Local Government Elected Members.
Target Audience
Suitable for Elected Members who would like to refresh their knowledge and understanding of waste management concepts.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of completing this program, participants should be able to:
- understand the range of services that Local Government provides to the community;
- have the right information to make informed decisions; and
- understand the Legislative and Policy context.
