The Environment and Waste team undertake both policy and projects covering a range of environmental issues. The team provides resources and information to support Local Government Officers and Elected Members and creates awareness about specific environmental issues.
The Environment and Waste team also plays an important advocacy and representative role to ensure Local Government views on these issues are heard and considered by other spheres of Government.
